Services

We are the region’s experienced experts in all aspects of pet relocation. Our knowledgeable team of professionals will work diligently to meet the needs of you and your pet from start to finish.

What Can We Do for You and Your Pet?

Our services include the following steps to successful pet relocation:

  1. Work with you to arrange logistics at each destination: when, where, how, who and how much
  2. Arrange with the airlines to establish the most direct route
  3. Purchase an IATA and USDA approved carrier or kennel for your pet or build a custom crate for very large dogs
  4. Obtain and/or verify all health certificates
  5. Complete necessary domestic and international documentation
  6. Embassy, Consulate and USDA services when needed
  7. Provide proper preparation and identification of your pet(s) and their belongings for flight
  8. Provide ground transportation when needed to or from an airport
  9. Arrange veterinary services if needed
  10. Coordinate with our vast network of IPATA relocation specialists both domestically and internationally for door to door service, import/export services and permits as well as boarding (if necessary or required) at either end of your pet’s trip.
  11. Boarding when necessary at our facility, www.shadyspringkennels.com

Air travel is very safe and by far the fastest way to get your pet to their destination. However, it may not be the way you would like to have your pet travel. With this in mind, we can offer ground transportation. They will travel in a private, clean, climate controlled van. We offer numerous stops to allow your pet to stretch, drink and if necessary a small meal will be provided. Your pet's comfort and safety is our primary concern.

Please Note – Possibility of Unforeseen Events/Additional Costs

  • Please be aware that in the event of any delays caused by weather or the airlines themselves additional charges to relocate your pet will apply. We can provide boarding services if delays occur. You will be kept informed of any changes as they occur.
  • Airline Cargo Costs vary from carrier to carrier. Cost is determined by a number of things, such as size and weight of the pet, size of the crate, and destination. We cannot estimate international cargo until we have specific information from you and the airline is contacted.
  • Other Fees are specific to your move and may include import fees for international relocation, vaccinations, health certificates, postage/handling charges, other relocation agents and boarding.
  • Relocating internationally is detail oriented and in most cases special documentation is required. These services are additional and will be charged appropriately.
